New piece of art in our house!

So this is what happens when the hubby is watching the little one & the Vikings game is on!?!? You'd think she knows better & she does, at least we thought. So I asked Elle what she had done, she said she drew a giraffe! I then said is it ok to draw on the walls? She replied, No. I then told her we can't do that anymore & she said.......BUT ISIN'T HE CUTE! Oh boy, how in the world can you be upset at creative little ones?

Getting into the Holiday Spirit

It has been a busy week at our house! We've been baking cookies for a cookie exchange that was so fun! Thanks for inviting me Kris, yummy! We brought the kids to the Holiday display at Macy's, A Day in the Life of an Elf. It was so cute, but way too short! Then it was dinner at Pizza Luce, no other pizza even comes close to its yumminess! We have our tree up too. Elle would pick up each ornament & say " Oh my gosh, this one is so beautiful" every time she put one up. Gage only lasted a little while, he seems to be to cool to help us put it up, although he did enjoy looking back at all his ornament throughout the years. We also got to have an extra little helper that day, thanks Alexis.

Aliens Don't Exist in Woodbury

So my hubby calls me is a panic this morning at work. I can't figure out what he's trying to tell me, so ask him to take a picture & send it to me. This is what I get, those ...... CROP CIRCLE things IN THE SNOW! So now I'm freaking out! At work! What could have done this, It's perfect circles all the way from my front yard to my back yard? I ask my girls at work, they think it's the craziest thing they've ever seen & are a little freaked out! Their freaked out, I'm freaked out, I'm sleeping at my parents house tonight, I think to myself, no chance I'm going home. I saw those scary alien movie, I don't want to get probed, NO WAY!! So all day I'm racking my brain, my grandpa even goes over to my house & takes pictures of it. Then someone suggests I should call one of the NEWS channels??? What, than we'd be one of those crazy families people talk about, NO WAY! So when I get off work I get a call, it's Rich, you'll never believe this...... my son & his 3 buddies thought it would be cool to make perfect circles in our yard, they were hoping they could get in the Guinness Book of World Records!! I've never been so relived to have an imaginative child! I can go home & sleep soundly with no worries! Just a little embarrassed about my imaginative / crazy mind!

Visit to the Dentists

Kids went to the dentists yesterday, they did great and don't have any major issues. Gage laid there all cool and relaxed while they went to work. He took his x-rays with no gagging or choking at all. Now little Ms. Elle on the other hand was a different story, she layed there with all her might, but only made it through 2 of the 4 x-rays they needed. She did great during the cleaning and was quite the chatter box. They both walked out with new brushed and a clean smile, not sure how much longer Gage will be going the the "children's dentists".

What's new w/The Kids?

Elle slowed down for a few quick poses this weekend! She has been beyond silly lately, Hannah Montana is her favorite entertainer & she is constantly dancing & singing all of her songs for us. With all of this extra spunk she has we feel like we need to channel it into something fun for her. We'll see what we can come up with.



Gage is the next great pianist! Lets say you want to hear Over the Rainbow, no problem! How about Soulja Boyz, Crank That, no problem! Or Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love, again, no problem! His teacher has him learning the basics which is great, but I know he wants to be playing some Beethoven. This is a photo taken at his first piano concert!

Future Soccer Star's

Gage scored two goals today during Woodbury's Soccer Jamboree. Elle scored one goal for her team & was named Player of the Game.




Gage played 3 games today with his team The Leprechaun's. They won all 3! The last game was the most exciting, that's where Gage scored the two goals. I say he was showing off for Rich & Randy. It was so much fun, I can't wait for the next game!



Elle played 1 game today, I stayed back with Katie to watch Gage, but Rich brought her & snapped some great shots of her! Way to go Elle!

Fun with Alexis

We got to baby sit Alexis tonight, she's Gage's cousin. We went to Gage's soccer practice & the girls played at the park.



Then we went on a walk around the field, we had to stop & cheer for Gage!



Then the girls saw a hill they had to roll down, they stopped only for a quick picture!



Then it was time to go...... lots of kisses before we left! Thanks for thinking of us Nikki & Pat, we love having the girls play together.
